Inkdiy:When you close it,you can catch the umbrella cloth part and press the handle.

Inkdiy:Yes,Its material has great zero light transmission and sun protection performance, which can effectively block the ultraviolet rays to avoid the sun exposure for giving you a comfortable and refreshing experience just like under the shade of trees.

Inkdiy:No afraid not must pull down.

1.8.(reverse folding umbrella)Has anyone used this for sunny weather? Curious to know how much sun it blocks and if it keeps you cool.

Inkdiy:The pongee fabric itself is anti-UV. This umbrella got two layers of canopy which makes it reached SPF 50+ protection and will keeps you cool enough. 

1.7.(reverse folding umbrella)Has anyone used this when its windy? We get gusts sometimes so Im looking for something strong. Do you think this would stand up to wind and rain?

Inkdiy:It stands up to a fairly stiff breeze. PLUS, if it DOES go "inside out", it's the direction it's SUPPOSED to close in.

Inkdiy:It's very good for an average size hand or big hand. The handle circle is larger than my old reverse umbrella.

1.9.(reverse folding umbrella)When closed is this compact enough to carry in a bag or backpack?

Inkdiy:It does not change lengths. It only folds up. If you had a really big backpack you could fit it completely. Otherwise probably not.

Inkdiy:No, you must manually push up to open and push the release to lower.

Inkdiy:Yes, I think it will.

Inkdiy:Yes! I put everything on it: hot chocolate, café latte, cold water, tea, and even soups sometimes.

7.5.How difficult is it to clean the cap?

Inkdiy:I haven't had any trouble. its a rather wide mouth bottle and is a size where you can really get in there and clean it. ama iff you're truly obsessive a toothbrush would fit just fine. 

7.6.Can I put lemon in my water in this cup? Or will it damage it?

Inkdiy:Sure, you can put lemon the water, that actually is helpful to improve the taste and good for health. 

7.7.Where is this made?

Inkdiy:These water bottles are made from a China factory which has over 10 years old history in water bottle making.
